8:39 a.m. - 2003-11-20

my mother woke me up at 8am crying hysterically asking me to hold her for a little while
she's got a lump in her breast that is more likely than not cancerous, and she's put it off long enough for it to've spread - - her dr's appointment is tomorrow
she's lost 30 pounds in about two months because she's got diarrhea constantly
she had diarrhea all night last night at work and got so worried and scared this morning that she threw up everywhere on the drive home
in her hair
on her clothes

she stays in bed for days at a time when she doesnt have to work
she's the strongest woman i know
she says the worst thing is if she's not able to watch the baby grow up

she's my best friend
